Students were able to see what it takes to be able to work hard towards a common goal, what is needed to stay safe, and a reminder that the race is a marathon, not a sprint. Our elementary students were able to go and tour the Union Station yesterday! As you can see, they loved all the hands on activites and they even said that you would take them today to go and see the steam engine "Big Boy" today! ... Just Kidding. The students were great examples to each other and want to go back again.
Meet Elias! He works in the LIFE Program and has been a great addition to our team this year. Elias is using the skills he learned as a peer tutor to become an even stronger support for the students he works with.
Meet Josie! She works in the LIFE Program and is exceptional with behavior support. With her wealth of knowledge, Josie helps shape positive behaviors at school and at home.

It looks like Nancy had a great time at the nation's paraprofessional conference. As you can see she represented Utah and Canyon View!! So proud to be able to rub shoulders with her and all the other great teachers/paraprofessionals we have here. They are what makes this school so great!!
Meet Yvette! She’s a nutrition worker who builds relationships with students in the lunchroom. Yvette goes out of her way to support everyone.

We had some wonderful visitors in our Elementary program! Mr. Rod and Nurse Meghan taught the students all about how people survived in the past. Fair warning: you might hear requests for a beaver-skin hat! Ask your kids over the break what they learned about Rendezvous.
