Endling the quarter can be rough. We had set up times for ESP and teachers to be able to do some meditation, yoga, go for a walk, and bring home a body scrub to use at home. We hope our staff know how much we appreciate them working here! We hope you all feel the same, and see the great gains our students make while attending Canyon View.

Best of Canyon View (BOCV). Dylan also works in our Preschool program as well. Dylan has also leveled their skills in working with students and helping them develop into stronger and instructionally prepared students.

Best of Canyon View nominations! Abby is one of our new professionals that work in our Preschool Program. She not only brings her expertise from prior experiences, but she enjoys supporting students as they learn how to transition and develop in their communication.

We have our Halloween Dance in our gym tonight. This event is for anyone who has participated in our LIFE program. Please come in your favorite costume!

Welcome to Yellow group's cooking class! Chili Cheese Dog Casserole 1. Preheat oven to 475* 2. Slice hot dogs into circles 3. Mix hot dog slices and chili into the bottom of a casserole dish 4. Spread mixture evenly across bottom of pan 5. Sprinkle shredded cheese across the top of the chili mixture 6. Top with tater tots 7. Cook for about 20 minutes. Go and ask your children to help you make it!!

Unified Cheer is new this year! At the soccer tournament, these athletes were able to get in front of the crowd and cheer on our players. We even had some extra supporters from our Elementary team there to help our Navigators.

This last Friday, we celebrated our new head custodian, Trevor. He has stepped into the role and seems to be a natural. Trevor always has a smile on his face and is willing to do ANYTHING that he is asked.

Our Canyon View LIFE program had a wonderful event over at Bonneville High School. It was so much fun watching our athletes and our students cheer on all of our teams. It was great to see our students try their best and able to show what makes Canyon View what it is.

WSD is holding a Transition Fair for families in the Weber county area. Please come and learn more about different programs and agencies that could support your child. There is information for any student that attends CV. The event is at Weber Innovation High School 1007 W 12th Street in Ogden, Ut on Wednesday October 7th from 5 t0 7.

Best of Canyon View - If you have been to our elementary program, you have seen Ashley. She is going to school right to work in education, and she brings in her training and expertise into the classroom.

Best of Canyon View - Brianna is a great staff member. She is currently working in Preschool in our Tier 3 classroom. She takes pride in coming into work everyday to work one on one with her students. She is a great worker.

Best of Canyon View - We are excited to nominate our staff. Kelly has worked in our LIFE program the last few years and is currently in our Green group. She has built relationships with her students and continues to help them gain more independence.

Spirit week! We saw some amazing socks today!! THING 1 or THING 2, Jack the Pumpkin King, and many many more! Tomorrow, wear your tie dye shirt and dress like a hippy! Excited to see how groovy you look.

It has been a couple weeks since we started, but we had a wonderful time having our friends come back to school. THANK YOU parents for sending them to come and hang out with us. We have loved creating these new memories and working on life long goals. Excited to see where we go!!

Come to Back to School Night today from 4:00 to 6:00. We would love to see you and your child's face. It is an open house format for Preschool and Elementary. As for our LIFE program, we will have Orientation start at 4:30 in the gym! I know we have a lot of wonderful things happening and would love to have you all involved!!
